Elizabeth Henry joined the Corcoran Group as Senior Managing Director of the East side office in March 2007 and currently oversees nearly 350 brokers and sale associates located at 660 Madison Avenue. Previously, she managed the East side office for Halstead Property for eight years. Since the start of Elizabeth’s real estate career in 1982, she has specialized in the sale of cooperatives, condominiums and townhouses in association with several of Manhattan’s most respected firms transitioning her career to Management of Brokers in 1999.

Elizabeth’s high standard of service to her customers and clients has always been her trademark, the reason for the high number of repeat business and referrals she has received over the years. Elizabeth’s encyclopedic knowledge of buildings on the upper east and west sides is legendary. Equally beneficial to her brokers is her understanding of the evolving neighborhoods, buildings and boards. She teaches Board Application preparation in Corcoran’s training and intimately understands the intricacy and meticulous need for attention to detail the presentations require.

A strong advocate of education, Elizabeth works tirelessly to promote responsible business practices both to Corcoran brokers and within the real estate community. She is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and continues her service on the Education Committee for which she served six years as its Co-Chair. In 2008, Elizabeth enrolled in the New York Residential Specialist program (NYRS) and now is an enthusiastic member of that committee at the Board promoting this new accreditation for seasoned Associate Brokers.

A native of Tennessee, Elizabeth was raised in both Memphis and later, Washington D.C. Her family moved to Manhattan in the late 1960’s. She was educated at The National Cathedral School (DC), The Chapin School and Trinity School (NY) and University of Colorado (Boulder). Elizabeth resides on the Upper East Side and can usually be seen around the neighborhood with her two toy poodles, Booker & MG.
