As Managing Director of Corcoran’s second largest office, Gene Martinez is integral in the optimization of not only overall sales and operations, but the performance of the 116 talented brokers he capably oversees.

A former top-producing agent who has achieved consistent status as a member of Corcoran’s prestigious Multi-Million-Dollar Club, Gene brings to his position over five years of proven sales experience with the firm’s West Side office. His impressive track record along with his keen ability to close deals, maintain excellent client relationships and foster professional camaraderie made him the ideal choice to head the SoHo office brokers who greatly benefit from his extensive knowledge of Manhattan real estate.

Prior to joining Corcoran, Gene owned and operated a successful artist and photographer representation agency for nine years with offices in New York and Miami. Previous to that, he worked in various managerial capacities in the travel industry after beginning his career in marketing.

With real estate his longtime passion, Gene conducted guided tours of the Art Deco District in his hometown of Miami Beach way before the area’s current reincarnation. An Upper West Side townhouse owner who resides with his partner, he has called Manhattan home since 1986, and is delighted to once again be based downtown where he shares his wealth of expertise with his brokers and inspires them to do the same with their clientele.
