Senior Managing Director of Corcoran’s flagship East Side office, Bill Cunningham is both an integral force on the firm’s cutting-edge management team, and an inspiration to the many agents – both accomplished and novice – who rely on his knowledge and expertise. A top-performing residential specialist himself for many years, Bill was naturally singled out for his management position in 2007 not only for his endearing Southern charm, but for the extraordinary customer service orientation and outstanding sales performance he continually exhibited in his work.

What started out for Bill as an assistant position in real estate truly blossomed into a success story. This Arkansas native and University of Arkansas Marketing & Management graduate worked in the airline industry and engineering field before discovering an interest in real estate. In the mid-1990s while in Florida, he was inspired to develop a side business buying, rehabilitating and selling properties that led to a full-time career soon thereafter. After five years selling down south, Bill brought his expertise to the big city. He joined The Corcoran Group from day one, where he has remained and grown since 2001.

Bill’s impressive achievements as a leading broker in the company’s Westside office earned him the recognition and reward of becoming the choice candidate for senior management across town at Corcoran’s headquarters. While he today refers his loyal customers and clients to other brokers within the company, he is constantly hands on with every deal, and readily available to oversee each transaction to ensure it’s ultimate success. Bill genuinely enjoys his job because he gets great fulfillment seeing agents grow and prosper under his caring guidance.

Outside of the demands of his work, Bill is a licensed boat captain who still enjoys life off land. He is also an active outdoorsman with favorite activities that include sailing, water sports and adventure travel.
