Bonita was born in Manhattan and raised in Westchester and California, where she graduated with honors from UCSC as a Classics major. Her love of the ocean helped convince her to settle permanently in East Hampton in 1991, after working at an investment bank in Manhattan. She has been raising her children in East Hampton and is firmly rooted in the community. Bonita sat on the board at the EH Daycare Center for many years and is involved with other charity events in the area.
Although Bonita loves to travel to Europe, the Caribbean or to ski out West, she especially enjoys living in an area where she can partake in so many great activities; including boating, biking, yoga, or walking the dog at the beach.
