About Janet

Janet Wiemar is a 40-plus-year Montauk resident who loves her community and the work she does selling in it. Formerly in the restaurant business, Janet transferred her expert customer service, organizational and managerial skills to residential real estate in 1999. She is a true people person as she is an attentive listener and real go-getter when it comes to fulfilling her buyers', sellers' and renters' unique real estate needs.

Originally from West Islip, Janet previously worked for an insurance company in New York City. She and her husband, a former fisherman who now works for a landmark company in the fishing industry in Montauk, built their own home there more than two decades ago.

Janet particularly enjoys working with customers to find them that special home about which they are just as enthusiastic as she is about hers.

In spare time, Janet enjoys gardening and travel, which she has done a great deal of over the years.
