About Katie
Katie Milligan was born in Illinois, raised in California, then moved to the Washington D.C. area before attending Southampton College in 1975. It was here that she met her husband and decided to put down her roots, purchasing her first home in the Village of Southampton in 1981.
For over 35 years the couple has operated their successful business, Milligan Seafood, which distributes seafood locally and abroad. During this time, Katie also gained personal experience on both sides of the table as a property buyer and seller. She still owns and manages several rental/investment properties, having purchased, renovated and sold several properties over the years. Her sharp business sense, deep community roots and seasoned market knowledge ultimately proved to be invaluable when she decided to enter the real estate business as a broker. With her children grown and the seafood business well-established, Katie decided to devote her time, energy and fresh outlook to her passion: real estate.
Katie Milligan is a Certified Buyers Broker who relates well to her customers and understands their needs; qualities which have earned her awards as a top producer in her field. She attributes her great communication skills to having raised four daughters who continue to test her capabilities in this area! As a result, she is a strong negotiator who advocates for her clients and helps protect their best interests.
Katie has served as a Board Member of the Southampton Historical Museum and is still an active member. She is also a member of Corcoran Cares, an non-profit , in-house organization that supports dozens of charitable and philanthropic organizations within the communities Corcoran serves. Katie loves to travel and spend time with her family, but she is happiest returning to the East End with its ocean, beaches, farmland and incredible light.
