This wonderful two story waterfront shingled house with its own dock is located in the heart of the estate section, perched on a beautiful site, yards from Taylor's Creek, an inlet to Shinnecock Bay. The house was fully renovated in 2001 and has central air conditioning and an alarm system. In the main house, an enormous screened porch with ceiling fans stretches across the back of the house. The porch is accessed by four sets of double french doors which open onto an over-sized living room. David Hicks personally designed the adjacent large sunken sun room (featured in one of his books), which could serve as an additional living room. Also there is a cozy library/ TV room. There is a formal dining room as well as an informal dining room, and a spectacular kitchen and bar area with four sinks, three dishwashers, a large refrigerator plus multiple half fridges and a large wine fridge and ice machine. The house can sleep twelve comfortably. In the main house there are two master suites, each with en suite his and her bathrooms, plus two additional bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, as well as a separate servants' quarters (or guest) area with two bedrooms, a sitting room and full bath. There are powder rooms at each end of the house. There are two sets of washer/dryers. A partially finished basement has a pool table and large screen TV. The garage apartment has an additional sitting room, bedroom, and full bath, as well as it's own porch overlooking the back patio area, heated pool, and lighted basketball sport court. There is an outdoor shower, half bath, and cabana for the pool area. There is a two car garage

Southampton
History describes Southampton as a village known for its quiet elegance, magnificent estates, and fabled residents.
Of all the South Fork's Hamptons, it is Southampton that still exudes a gentility that you can feel from Main Street to Noyack Bay to all seven miles of oceanfront south of the highway. It's worth noting how you feel teeing off at the Shinnecock Golf Club, the oldest private 18-hole golf course in the United States. Be sure to visit the new Parrish Museum, a landmark destination for American art lovers.
