About Doug
The great retail entrepreneur Marshall Field once said, "Give the lady what she wants!" This may sound out-dated or even politically incorrect in today's business environment; however, Doug Eichman has always believed in this basic principle - listen to your customer and give them what they want. It has served him well in an illustrious retail career that began with Saks Fifth Avenue and has included such notable companies as Marshall Field & Company, Abercrombie & Fitch, Tommy Hilfiger, as well as his own award winning company, w.d. & co. in Boston. His passion for customer satisfaction made The Corcoran Group the only choice when he decided to enter real estate. He is proud to be among the professionals who call Corcoran home.
When his retail work took him to a new city, he always bought a new home instead of renting. He quickly developed an interest and keen understanding of the local real estate market, possessing an intuitive knowledge of the "right" area as well as the "right" purchase price. He has worked with and learned from the best brokers: from Chicago to Columbus, Baltimore to Boston, and certainly in New York City. Not a native New Yorker, he has called the city home more than once, but returned to stay 8 years ago; settling in Sutton Place where he has vowed "never to leave".
