She has loved Brooklyn since the summer of 1999, when, in an effort to meet new people, she bought a motorcycle and joined a weekend riding club that exposed her to the borough’s beautiful brownstones, tree-lined blocks, distinct neighborhoods, and strong sense of community. Heather’s own experience buying a home has made her sympathetic to the importance of finding a broker who will ask the right questions and listen closely to the answers. Though real estate transactions can be stressful, Heather helps her clients enjoy the process by being energetic, accessible, and attentive. From contractors to stagers, she oversees a large network of subcontractors so that her sellers don’t need to hire anyone but her. “If you hire me, the only things you will have to do, with my help, is choose the best offer, and sign your contract.” Originally from Minnesota, Heather moved to New York in the mid-90s to pursue a graduate degree in English. Her subsequent work in book publicity has been an invaluable asset when it comes to marketing real estate properties. Heather has two young daughters, and she enjoys taking her family to their home in the Catskills, where they love to kayak, canoe, eat good food, and spend time with friends.
