A New Yorker for the past 15 years and a Brooklyn homeowner for seven, Heather cherishes the pulse and energy of Manhattan, but loves coming home to Brooklyn. Her firsthand understanding of how important it is to achieve this peace and satisfaction with one’s home is what motivates Heather to find the same thing for her clients, and how hard she works to do so is reflected by her incredible sales record. Heather is one of Corcoran’s top ten selling brokers in all of Brooklyn as well as a member of the coveted Gold Council, which indicates her status as one of the top 50 Brokers at Corcoran as a whole. In 2012, Heather achieved over $45 million in sales, and her consistent track record of accurately and competitively pricing for sellers is illustrated by the fact that her clients consistently receive multiple offers for their properties. A natural people person with a penchant for the visual, Heather has an extensive background in interior design, which has proven valuable.
in helping her clients envision the aesthetic possibilities of their potential homes. She has loved Brooklyn since the summer of 1999, when, in an effort to meet new people, she bought a motorcycle and joined a weekend riding club that exposed her to the borough’s beautiful brownstones, tree-lined blocks, distinct neighborhoods, and strong sense of community. Heather’s own experience buying a home has made her sympathetic to the importance of finding a broker who will ask the right questions and listen closely to the answers. Though real estate transactions can be stressful, Heather helps her clients enjoy the process by being energetic, accessible, and attentive. She prides herself on the ability to create a seamless and stress-free transaction that allows her clients to focus on the property rather than the red tape. From contractors to stagers, she oversees a large network of subcontractors so that her sellers don’t need to hire anyone but her. “If you hire me, the only things you will have to do, with my help, is choose the best offer, and sign your contract.” Originally from Minnesota, Heather moved to New York in the mid-90s to pursue a graduate degree in English. Her subsequent work in book publicity has been an invaluable asset when it comes to marketing real estate properties. Heather has two young daughters, and she enjoys taking her family to their home in the Catskills, where they love to kayak, canoe, eat good food, and spend time with friends.
