Karen and Kyle also both draw upon their creative backgrounds – hers in theater and film, his as a painter, art director and self-taught surfboard shaper. They are devout Ditmas Park residents who founded The Brooklyn Waldorf School, actively participate in their local church, and give time to charity work for underserved sections of Brooklyn.
