I'm grateful for your many contributions to the quick sale of the apartment: from your candid assessment, to your recommendation of a contractor, to your design suggestions. You were such a huge help. Thanks for everything and all the best!— Jill , Seller
As your Real Estate broker, Michael Rohrer relies upon two and a half decades of experience in New York as a sales and marketing professional. Michael has his feet on both sides of the river having lived in both Manhattan and Brooklyn for over a decade each. He understands both mindsets and is often called upon by people looking to manage their transition from one to the other. Based in the Brooklyn Heights office and a Park Slope resident, Rohrer focuses on all of northern Brooklyn as well as Manhattan depending upon his customers' desires.
Michael is a seasoned real estate broker, having joined Corcoran in 2001. A Vice-President of the company, he is an acknowledged marketing expert with concrete skills and a creative spirit.
He spent years managing sales at a prominent NYC art gallery representing the celebrated caricaturist Al Hirschfeld and later worked in management for an advertising agency that advised Fortune 500 companies on how to extend their brands to the internet.
He is known for refining the sales strategy to each property's strengths and helping sellers to stage their properties to showcase them most effectively. Buyers know him as a broker who listens more than he talks and is intuitive about people's requirements and motivations. He inspires confidence in his handling of the myriad details that real estate transactions require.
Michael has a Master's degree in Media Studies, loves to travel and is a former Co-Chair of the Corcoran Cares program. He helped to launch the program and to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars with his colleagues for well-deserving local charities. Originally from a small town in Michigan, but a New Yorker for almost thirty years, he is now a Brooklyn resident and townhouse owner and would love to be a resource and guide for your next foray into New York real estate.
