When you think of what a true "go getter" personality is like, Shameika Wade comes first to mind. Nothing stops this tenacious, results-driven professional from what she has her heart set on and when it comes to selling real estate, her heart is set on satisfying clients!
Shameika brings to Corcoran strong financial savvy having worked for two financial industry leaders. Most recently, she helped corporate borrowers with competitive financing in Fixed Income Trading at UBS Securities, LLC. Prior to that, Shameika gained experience in insurance as a Financial Institutions Risk Analyst with Chubb & Son, Inc. While attending Rutgers University she served as an Ambassador to the U.N. Center for Human Settlements- Habitat (UNCHS) for Rutgers University, her alma mater where she received a degree in Financial Economics.
Her transition into real estate had much to do with the profession being in Shameika's blood. Her very first job after college entailed handling property management and sales for her father, a contractor and cement mason by trade, in the family business - H.W. Real Estate & Construction. There, beside her father, is where her passion for the industry was developed and nurtured.
Today as an agent with her own sights set on excellence, Shameika puts her high energy level to work for clients to help them accomplish their goals. She stands by her claim that she will not only get the job done, but will exceed your expectations in finding the "perfect home," or selling your prized property at full value. "I appreciate not only the financial investment in a home, but the emotional one as well. It's a place that represents years of memories, children's first steps, birthday's and anniversaries. No matter what the obstacle, I deliver complete satisfaction with my attentive service and nothing less!"
With deep roots in the South Shameika has a unique southern charm combined with city savvy. This contented Bedford-Stuyvesant resident is actively involved in her community as a member of her neighborhood block association, and of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Shameika also belongs to the Financial Women's Association (FWA), an esteemed association of the financial industry's most influential women dedicated to community service and social change, as well as the Rutgers University Alumni Association.
