Entering the real estate field in 1990, Helene moved to Florida in 1994 with her husband to make their home at Admirals Cove, a gated golf community in the North Palm Beach town of Jupiter. She has since specialized in selling and marketing luxury market properties such as condominiums, high-end homes, townhouses, country club communities and commercial properties all throughout Palm Beach County.
A native of Woodmere, New York, Helene attended Lawrence High School and then pursued her love of fashion at the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising in Manhattan. She ultimately exercised her entrepreneurial spirit opening her own buying office that represented 25 stores in the Midwest. Prior to real estate, she owned a manufacturing company under her own label "Helene Sidel." Her business grew quickly, and Helene owned/operated her own showroom in Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City, all while creating a different collection five times a year. She subsequently stayed on as the designer after selling her company in 1985 with a studio in California for four years. When her contract was up, Helene moved back to New York, got her real estate license and the rest is history.
