About Lorraine

After 35 years as an accomplished real estate professional, Lorraine Marano is a natural at matching people with properties.oftentimes even over the phone. Because she's so in tuned to people's needs and is highly adept at listening to words both spoken and unsaid, Lorraine puts her experience, intuition and market knowledge to quick use to expedite the real estate process and assure the best results possible.

A Brooklyn native, Lorraine studied business at Brooklyn College. She worked as a legal secretary before raising her children then earned her real estate license in 1971. A year later, she got her broker's license, and from 1973 to 1989 owned and operated an office in Dix Hills where she and her family resided. Having summered in the Hamptons since 1972, she decided to make it her permanent residence in 1990.

She was on the Board of Directors of Multiple Listing Service which expanded her insight and involvement in the business.

Lorraine's caring nature, down-to-earth personality and old-fashioned values endear her to everyone she meets. She truly takes time to listen and help in all aspects of the real estate process, whether working with an individual client or a builder. Her fine service is rewarded with the repeat and referral customers that comprise the brunt of her clientele.

With two grown children and four grandchildren who all live close by, Lorraine makes family time her priority when not busy at work. She also loves to cook and relax at the beach, one of her favorite perks of living out East.
