She worked on Wall Street for the United States Trust Company, then for Union Mutual Insurance Company (ranked #1 in the country for office underwriting) upon moving to Long Island. Peggy subsequently got her insurance license and sold for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. Her transition to real estate came quite naturally having been in sales and helping people with their unique needs over the years. Peggy believes that, "If you're buying real estate, it can be a very happy experience. It means you've finally reached the point in your life where you can have that summer home for your family to enjoy. Selling a home often means saying goodbye to a prized property where you and your loved ones spent a lot of time together. Either way, there are a lot of emotions involved, not to mention financial considerations. I try to put myself in my clientele's shoes and make the transaction as smooth and enjoyable as possible." Outside of work, Peggy is also great at matching puppies with families. She breeds, raises and shows Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs, her second great passion. Peggy is also involved in her church and is head of the Deacons at the Mattituck Presbyterian Church. She has also been on the Mission Committee there. Peggy also loves hiking in Upstate New York. "Give me a dog, a leash, and a pretty place to walk and I'm happy."
