Born and bred in Brooklyn, Clare's hallmark is an exceptional dedication to meeting her clients' needs with the utmost professionalism, warmth and enthusiasm. Having earned repeat recognition in Corcoran’s Multi-Million Dollar Club, her hard work and tenacity was most recently spotlighted with a nomination for the Real Estate Board of New York's Deal of the Year award. She was also the recipient of the company's first ever "Herculean Deal" award for pulling together a highly complicated and challenging transaction. A graduate of Fordham University with a degree in journalism, Clare launched her career as an arts editor at The Village Voice, a position that allows her to provide a window onto the city's rich cultural life. She then served as a technology and business wire service writer whose articles were syndicated by The New York Times, Dow Jones, and CNBC, and other outlets. Her reporting on these subjects has helped to inform a fluid understanding of where the market is headed.
In real estate, Clare finds that her well-honed professional skills coupled with her strong interpersonal and leadership abilities dovetail with the wants of buyers and sellers in today's market. Having interviewed a myriad of subjects – including congressional representatives, newsmakers, noted artists and a host of personalities in between – Clare excels at dealing with people from all walks of life. She believes her combination of listening attentively while making clients feel comfortable enough to tell her exactly what they want is critical to her success. In addition to cultivating such relationships, she treats all of her clients with the same level of attention and works tirelessly on their behalf – whether it is a first-time buyer searching for the perfect starter space to a developer looking for insight on finishes and pricing on a multimillion dollar project. Often described as a true professional, Clare ensures that questions and concerns are addressed in a timely manner to facilitate a seamless deal. While she is extremely familiar with the character of many of the borough's neighborhoods, Clare resides in Bay Ridge with her husband and has been interviewed for her insight on the area by the Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, among others. Having completed a renovation of her pre-war house, she unwinds by frequenting near-by waterfront parks with her dogs, Sophie and Arturo, and traveling as often as possible.
