The people will be more stylish, listen to cooler music, and have a better knowledge of both up-and-coming visual artists and Portuguese wines. Night or day, River North always has something going on. The artsy side of Chicago blossomed in the abandoned factories along the river (to the west and south) and the dining scene along the Miracle Mile (the eastern border) grew more interesting and eclectic as it pushed into River North.
