Get to Know Maravilla, Montage, and Twin Dolphin

Maravilla and Montage are two resort communities often spoken of in one breath, along with Twin Dolphin, a private golf and an outdoor adventure club, which is only available to residents of Maravilla and Montage. The three resorts form a super-enclave on Cabo’s Golden Corridor, with options for buying in all three. Montage has a hotel component, residential rentals, and private residences for sale; Maravilla is entirely residential; and Twin Dolphin offers casitas along the golf course and select parcels of land of up to seven acres allowing homeowners to design a completely custom ranch within the property. The communities pride themselves on creating memorable experiences for the entire family, with options for activities including a splash pad, private arcade, rock climbing wall, and activities like archery, axe throwing, paintball, and even glamping. Of course there’s the Fred Couples Signature golf course, as well multiple sport courts, pools, and dining options.

Living in Los Cabos

Los Cabos, meaning “the capes,” is a distinctive landscape of mountains, desert, sky, and sea, a coastal stretch of land next to where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. The municipality extends between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo and includes the 32-kilometer (or about 20-mile) corridor in between, sinuously curving around the coastline of the southernmost tip of Baja California. For a long time, Los Cabos was a sparsely populated area, home to only a few fishing villages. But starting in the 1950s, this picturesque region began to be discovered by Hollywood movie stars as the perfect vacation spot. Gradually, Los Cabos became increasingly popular with the construction of two airports, the Transpeninsular Highway, and modern marinas, allowing Americans to easily head south. In recent years, Los Cabos has begun changing again, evolving away from its party reputation and back to its roots as a luxury holiday destination.
