Sports industry exec selling Amagansett home for $3.695 million

Sports industry executive Chris Bevilacqua's Amagansett home is on the market for $3.695 million.

 

The five-bedroom, 6.5-bath cedar shingled house is on 2.5 acres "in the heart of celebrityville," says Carol Nobbs of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, who is exclusively representing the listing with Prudential's Telly Karoussos and The Corcoran Group's Bryan Midlam.

 

Paul McCartney, Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, and Alec Baldwin live nearby. Baldwin's actor/brother, Billy, was the best man at Bevilacqua's 2005 wedding.

 

A Massapequa native, Bevilacqua is chief executive and chairman of CAA Sports Media Ventures. He was the co-founder of CSTV Networks.

 

Builder Mark Cardone constructed the home in 2006. "You just know when it is a love-at-first-sight thing," says Bevilacqua, citing the home's open layout, cherrywood floors, high-end fixtures and custom detail. A father of three small children, Bevilacqua says he still loves the house "but it's just not practical for us now."

 

The 7,000-square-foot home features a heated gunite pool and a patio with a built-in barbecue as well as three fireplaces, first- and second-floor master bedrooms and a two-car garage.
