Montauk’s East Deck Motel (Yes The One At Ditch Plains) Goes Up For Sale

This rumor has been going around for a while, but it has been made official. The East Deck Motel, located in Ditch Plains, is a resort with every type of vacationer in mind. Since the 1950’s the East Deck has prided itself on its superior location and relaxing environment. Spread out across five beach front acres, the East Deck provides the guest with a multitude of options to get the most out of their vacation. It also just went up for sale.

 

This place has some serious history, being home to photo shoots from world famous photographers, Victoria Secret Models and Abercrombie and Fitch. It has also been the stomping grounds for Peter Beard, Andy Warhol, Julian Schnabel and Jimmy Buffett.

 

If you want to buy it, it’s $20 million. Chris Coleman of The Corcoran Group has the listing and says that the family is moving on from the motel.

 

The motel has legendary surfing, a new swimming pool, but for the most part has not changed in 50 years, and that is what we all love about it.
