Via Linda lakefront property sells for $10.93 million

The Fromers sold the house for $10.93 million to a Delaware-based limited liability company named after the address of the property, according to a warrant deed recorded Friday by the Palm Beach County Clerk’s office.
With 121 feet of lake frontage, the house had been listed for sale at $13.9 million by broker Lawrence A. Moens of Lawrence A. Moens Associates.
The Fromers had no comment on the sale Monday.
Broker Christian Angle, who represented the buyer, said he could not discuss details of the transaction nor name anyone associated with the company that bought property because of confidentiality agreements.
But Angle did say that the home’s remarkably high elevation was among the prime selling points.
“It’s very rare elevation — over 18 feet — with phenomenal vistas,” said Angle, who owns Christian Angle Real Estate.
Built in 1952, the five-bedroom house has about 5,800 square feet of air-conditioned living space and a “total” area measuring a little more than 7,000 square feet, according to property records.
The Via Linda property stands just south of the Fromers’ six-bedroom home at 340 Polmer Park, which they bought for $17.1 million in January 2010 from Craig and Michele Millard, according to property ?records.

The posting of the sale capped a week in which the county clerk’s office recorded three deeds of at least $10 million each — with the prices totaling $52.58 million —for transactions in which Moens was involved. The largest of those deals, in which Moens represented the buyer, a trust, was the $29.15 million sale of
Also on Friday, an oceanfront home at 101 El Mirasol changed hands for $12.5 million, and Moens represented both sides in that transaction. The house was sold as part of the estate of Norma G. Saul, and the buyer was identified as a young family, who bought it through a limited liability company.
And just the week before on April 29, Moens saw the sales deed recorded at $23.1 million for his listing of Conrad Black’s mansion at 1930 S. Ocean Blvd. Paulette Koch and son Dana Koch of the Corcoran Group represented the buyer, a trust, in that deal.
