Towering Achievement: Patricia Palermo's 100th Sale at Carnegie Tower

Patricia Palermo has just closed her 100th sale at Carnegie Tower.

A long-time resident and shareholder of the building at 115 East 87th Street, the deal was a bittersweet one for Palermo, who has known the sellers for years and didn't want them to move out.

"The [seller] has been on the board of directors for 26 years and has achieved multiple successful changes for the greater good of the co-op," said Palermo. "Alas, they are empty nesters moving full time into their beautiful Amagansett, Long Island, home."

Despite her reluctance to see her neighbors go, Palermo did her usual great job, signing a contract for just under the $1.995 million asking price within 29 days.

Palermo's accomplished handling of sales in the building last year earned her the role of exclusive referral agent.

Key Real Estate Associates, which manages Carnegie Tower, chose her as its exclusive referral agent for sales and rentals in the 30 New York City buildings it manages, representing 2,800 apartments with an aggregate value of $2.2 billion.
