Every week, we track the most-viewed listings on The New York Times’s Find a Home site and report back to our readers. Now, with 2019 nearly behind us, we’ve tabulated the most popular listings of the year. With an average list price of more than $16 million, a strong curiosity for lavish lifestyles is clearly on display. Only one property, a West Village one-bedroom, was listed under $1 million.
5. Undulating Glass Walls
$16.3 MILLION | 194 Roxborough Drive, Toronto
The fifth-most popular property of 2019 was this six-bedroom, 17,000-square-foot, undulating home built in 2010. It was second most popular in our combined March and April edition of this roundup, and first in May. It’s still available.

4. Presto, Chango!
$899,000 | 78 Charles Street, No. 5W, West Village
In fourth place was this Manhattan one-bedroom, which appeared in every monthly roundup starting in August. Along the way its price was reduced (from $950,000), and recently the apartment was spruced up with a snow-white paint job.

3. Beaux-Arts on Fifth
$50 MILLION | 854 Fifth Avenue, Upper East Side
Third most popular, after appearing in our Top Five roundups in January and February (continuing its streak from the end of 2018) was this 20,000-square-foot, 17-bedroom, 15-bath home with eight levels of ornately decorated spaces and 10 rooms facing Central Park. It’s off the market, according to Zillow.

2. Park Avenue Classic
$2.695 MILLION | 1133 Park Avenue, No. 3 West, Upper East Side
In second place was this three-bedroom, two-bath corner unit that was most popular in January and February. Listed for $3.25 million by Brown Harris Stevens and eventually for $2.695 million by Warburg, it’s now under contract.

1. Magical Acres
$11.8 MILLION | 5225 Renner Road, Lake Quivira, Kan.
This seven-bedroom retreat packed with amenities on 18 acres was the most popular listing of the year after holding the top spot in August and September and then sliding to third in October. Located 15 miles from Kansas City, its most curious features are scuba tunnels to a grotto with a waterfall.
