Fitness trainer Tracy Anderson has rented a home in the Hamptons, where she says she plans to open a new studio.
Anderson, who trains Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow, says she is excited to spend time in Sag Harbor, where she has rented the bayfront three-bedroom, two-bathroom house on a half-acre.
"I love the artistic vibe of the community, peace of the bay and the amazing school system," says Anderson. "With my schedule, I am really looking forward to family time there. I will use the quiet time to create new moves, develop my new series of fitness DVDs, write my first book and open a new Tracy Anderson Method studio."
Anderson rented the home through The Corcoran Group's Clare Tenkarian. The asking price was $65,000 for the year. The house is also on the market for $2.595 million with Brown Harris Stevens.
Anderson says she will commute to Manhattan during the day to see private clients and run her new Greenwich Street studio in TriBeCa.
Anderson has a line of post-pregnancy, mat and dance DVDs, as well as fitness Webisodes that can be downloaded and used in conjunction with the workouts.
