Apartment hunting in New York can be a pretty daunting experience, but I'm happy to say it was a lot easier with Eleanor on our side. She's diligent and knowledgeable. Highly recommended, and definitely someone we'll turn to the next time around.

Eleanor is a professional. I really enjoyed working with her. I contacted Eleanor for assistance with the rental of our garden apartment and despite a multi month delay in the listing finally coming available she never pushed and was was so helpful when I needed her. There were a few aspects of the transaction that I overlooked and without Eleanor pointing them out to me I would have been in a little trouble. She could have let them go and I might not have noticed til well after but she held up the closing to make sure everything was done properly. I will only use her as an agent from here on, definitely the best agent I've worked with.

Eleanor is awesome. We worked with a couple brokers and were losing hope that we would be able to find something before we met Eleanor. Unlike other pushy realtors we've worked with in the past, Eleanor had our best interests in mind. In one instance, she advised us to walk away from a house that we loved, but ultimately needed a gut renovation and was not a good fit. She had her contractor connection provide quotes that gave us a realistic idea of the time and money it would cost. In hindsight, it's clear that she helped us dodge a bullet! When we found the house we ultimately purchased, Eleanor formed a plan on how we could put forward our strongest offer in a very competitive market. She worked very closely with us, the seller, and bank, from the moment we placed the offer to closing. She provided invaluable advice when we ran into bumps in the financing process. Eleanor was always responsive and a phone call away to answer any questions we had.

Eleanor is fantastic. She is (I can say with the confidence of someone who's moved about a hundred times in the city) the only realtor who has that most elusive quality in the profession -- honesty -- and matches it with a tenacious work ethic and a charm that wins just about everyone over. We loved everything about working with Eleanor. She made the absurd, insanely stressful process of buying a new york co-op somehow pleasant.
