Kanoe is absolutely amazing! As first time home buyers, She has been by our side from the beginning. It took us more than two and a half years to find a home for our family. Karen is a fantastic agent. I decided to contact her after reading reviews on Zillow, and I'm so glad I did. She helped us in our many-month search of homes in the Kona and Kamuela areas - we wound up with a house in Kamuela that we love. Karen knows a lot about the Big Island, and she is very patient (doing many viewings with us, both in person and remotely), knowledgeable and strategic. She was also appropriately tough when needed to support us in our negotiations, which I appreciated. Karen listened to us and worked together with us to come up with our offer - quite different from some agents I have run across in the past, who seemed to always be pushing the price higher without valuing our input. Most important to me, Karen is kind and funny, and someone I enjoyed working with. And, her associate Kanoelani is equally good, with a great eye for things like termite and water damage, and a lot of patience and kindness. We expect to need help again in the future, and fully plan to return to Karen and Kanoelani. I highly recommend them both.

We found Karen on Zillow by contacting listing agents for houses we were interested in. Karen stood out right away as she was very responsive and helpful, going the extra mile to make a video of the house were contacted her about. She provided a thorough and honest look at the property which we really appreciated. That house wasn’t for us, but Karen did find us exactly what we were looking for in the two days we were on the island! She is a hard worker that gets things done and also has a great personality. She and her team have an excellent work ethic and were with us every step of the way. This was very reassuring to us as our escrow was closing in the middle of the COVID shelter-in-place.
