I am happily writing this post to recommend Sam Teichman as a real estate professional. When my partner and I retained him we made him aware as seniors that this would be our "last" move as we were fleeing a small Manhattan apartment. He is a very courteous, good at listening to his clients and always available and knows all the tricks of the trade in the real estate market. Sam is especially good with returning calls and follow up. He also once rescued us by his car up after our F train to Brooklyn stalled in a train station on our way to a showing. Sam spent hours with us exploring options in Coney Island, Brighton, Midwood, Bay Ridge and Spuyten Duyvill. HIs knowledge of the NYC real state market is highly impressive. I highly recommend Sam to anyone who wants to buy or sell a property and he will work tirelessly to make sure his clients' needs are met.

Sam is so much more than a real estate agent, he is a partner guiding you on your path to finding and securing your perfect home (whether buying or renting - i believe). Right from our first meeting, Sam took time to understand what I was looking for and explain in detail what the process would be like - warts and all. By our second viewing, he had found THE ONE! Sam took the time to get to know us–what we needed in a new space, what we liked to do, and how we liked to live–and found us an apartment that we love. He shared his knowledge and thoroughly researched the NYC market to find us only apartments worth looking at, and he nailed it! The first unit we saw was absolutely perfect, and the one we purchased. I was a novice, having rented my entire life, living in my previous apartment for 45 years. He prepared me for the financial aspects of the process, making clear the tasks I would need to complete. He coached me for the Board interview and mitigated my anxiety. He also worked well with the sellers and their agent. He was up front about his own stake in the process and I never felt that his desire to make the sale prevented him from honest communication about any part of the transaction. He was reliable, conscientious, is a good communicator and has a good sense of humor. I would recommend him to a friend and have done so.

I longed passionately to return to New York after having relocated to a beautiful but searingly isolated area. I will never know how I deserved to have Sam Teichman placed in my life at that time, but he was persistent, insightful and dedicated to helping me find a home in New York City. Sam really went above and beyond helping me find a home!! I highly recommend him. Through my homebuying processes my very picky asian-mom was also involved, and he was nothing but patient and kind with her! He has so much knowledge and experience. He would answer my questions again and again, and he never gave off an annoyed vibe! He felt like I was just talking to a friend most of the time which which was super awesome.
