Christine is willing to go above and beyond to help you find your dream house! She's thorough and available. We would not have caught an issue with the house if Christine didn't recommend an inspection of the HVAC. The seller ended up fixing it by the close date thanks to her quick work! She is also very knowledgeable about the area!

She was super patient with all of my questions and just about always available to check out a house or respond to my (many) calls/texts/emails. For our first home buying process, Christine was wonderful. We had a ton of questions, and she was patient and thorough in answering them all. She listens very well to what you're looking for, and doesn't try and suggest things you're not. On top of that, while she's very cognizant of what your top budget might be, she went out of her way to show us several places well under our budget that fit our goals--it really felt like she wasn't trying to steer us towards things that would maximize her commission. We took her advice a lot, on things such as suggested offer amounts, contractor recommendations, and just general neighborhood expectations and she really never steered us wrong. It's definitely very daunting to think about buying our next house before we've moved in to our first one, but I have no doubt we'll use her again if we decide to ever sell and find someplace new.

Christine helped my husband and I find and purchase our first house and she was awesome! We had only been in Raleigh for a few months, so she was able to provide us with great suggestions and feedback in our learning of the area to help us find what we were looking for. She was incredibly responsive and flexible making herself available to answer our questions and meet with us even when I felt like we were asking too much of her! First time home buying is daunting, but Christine was a great partner for us throughout the process!

Christine helped us sell our house this spring, after helping us buy it 6 years ago. You can’t imagine an agent more willing to go out of his/her way to support clients. We were not easy — as buyers we lived out of state: she scouted properties for a year before helping us buy our dream house at a great price. As sellers we lived out of the country: she worked hard to prep the house, marketed it everywhere, did tons of open houses, and kept us informed of every detail from six time zones away, and it sold for a substantial gain. Christine Lewis was an invaluable resource to us when we purchased our home two years ago. Christine is extremely responsive and has a great knowledge of areas within Raleigh's beltline (ITB), including the near eastside neighborhoods that are experiencing a rapid influx of young residents and families. I trusted her with advice and opinions while she respected my needs which included "being able to walk to a grocery store." When I had a question she would typically respond within hours. For those thinking about utilizing homebuyer's assistance programs, Christine was a great mediator and willing to learn on the fly. I was utilizing both city and state assistance for eligible first-time homeowners (Raleigh Citywide Homeownership Program and North Carolina downpayment assistance) to my benefit which was a turnoff to some sellers who didn't trust my good financial status despite my qualifying to take advantage of those opportunities. Christine was fantastic at working with the seller to mediate and soften concerns. Christine did a great job helping us find our first home. She took the time to understand exactly what we wanted in a house and showed us several houses that fit our criteria. She also discouraged us from buying a house that in retrospect would have been a poor investment. When we did find the right one, she guided us through the entire purchase process. We will definitely ask her to help us find our next home when we are ready.

Christine was a HUGE asset in my home-buying experience. She taught me several things about the process that actually freed me up to do what was best for myself. She negotiated for me multiple times on one property, and then helped me win a critical bid on a HUD home, which I now happily live in.
