Working with Gary could not have been a better experience. Unlike other real estate agents/realtors I've worked with in the past, Gary was attentive, detailed-oriented and truly worked to understand what we were looking for in our rental search. Moving out of NYC was a big change for our family, and Gary made it as smooth as possible; accommodating our schedules, offering sound, expert advice on properties we were interested in, and communicating consistently and quickly. Gary is great. We had a house that we needed to sell this year. We developed the strategy to get it sold. It was put on the market in October, received an offer the first night of showing, and closed in early December. The process could not have been smoother!

It's because of Gary that I have my dream apartment, in the exact neighborhood I wanted and in my price range. His persistence and attention to detail really helped me notice and consider things that I wouldn't have as a first time renter. He event talked me off a ledge and out of a expanding my search radius past what I originally wanted. Great experience, great communicator. We feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Gary, especially in the insane market we're dealing with today. We were having issues getting in touch with a realtor to view an apartment so we reached out to the realty office directly. As luck would have it, Gary responded immediately, got us in to see the unit the next day, and didn't stop working hard for us over multiple months until we found our new home. My family was in a bind with our current living situation. With soaring home prices and rent increases for apartments we were in the process of moving further away from friends and family for affordability. At the very last second, we saw a rental that was listed and tried to call to view the unit. No matter how many times i called i couldn't get through so i was losing hope. Gary was so easy to work with. We were coming from the city and were not quite sure what we wanted; Gary spent a lot of time with us, and was able to show us various types of properties until we found the one that was just right.

Gary helped my wife and I buy our home. We were looking in Sussex County, which is out of his area. He still took the time to take us to the houses we wanted to see. A few years ago, as I was separating from my husband, I was looking for a one-bedroom apartment in northeastern Bergen Co. A friend recommended Gary Simon, who lived in the same town as me. I had a very good first impression of Gary as being sincere, professional, easy to talk to, and eager to help. I gave him two lists, one with the criteria I needed, the second with "would be nice to haves". Within 24-48 hours, Gary called me with excitement in his voice and described a place he found in his research for an appropriate place for me. I fell in love with it the minute I stepped into it! I don't know how he did it but Gary found a place that met both my needs and wants lists! In applying as a tenant, Gary combed over the contracts and noticed that the condo required the person moving in to pay a $400 "moving fee". I didn't agree with this at all! Gary managed to persuade my future landlady to waive the fee by, among other things, praising me as a prospective tenant. I was very impressed and happy about this as money in the middle of getting a divorce was a concern. I was accepted as the tenant and couldn't be happier!
