This was the first time we ever sold a home, so we were quite nervous about the process. Researching realtors who had sold similar properties in our area, we found Mary Catherine Smith and are extremely happy we did. She was very attentive, patient, proactive, and easy to work with. We really appreciated that she had ideas for what could be done with the house if a buyer wanted something different (e.g., turning a small bedroom into a laundry room). She came over multiple times to advise us on what to do to prepare the house for sale (and importantly, what she did not think was worth doing). She knows the Five Points area of Athens very well, and was up to date on all the houses being bought and sold, which helped us land on a great listing price. The photographs and brochures she had done were stunning and really highlighted all the home has to offer. We received a great offer in a matter of days. Mary Catherine kept us up to date of all the milestones between the offer and the closing date, and everything went very smoothly.
